Lower School Positions (PK-5th Grade)

An exciting opportunity awaits a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as a dedicated librarian serving students in early childhood through high school. As the founding school librarian, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a love for reading and learning. This position provides a unique chance to curate an engaging collection of books, implement innovative library programs, and collaborate with teachers to integrate literacy into the curriculum.

The Instructional Assistant helps the lead educator with all elements of daily instruction in the classroom. They also help with classroom management and behavior/discipline for the whole class, small groups of students, and individual student redirection, in addition to other assigned duties.

The Yellowstone Schools' Teaching Fellows program offers a comprehensive year-long experience designed for new educators. Throughout the program, fellows can work closely with experienced mentor teachers, gradually assuming teaching responsibilities while receiving ongoing professional development. Through personalized coaching and support, fellows gain the necessary skills and confidence to transition into lead teaching roles by the program's conclusion.

Upper School Positions (6th-10th Grade)

The Director of Special Populations will perform duties/functions that ensure special education services are provided for students with disabilities in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements. This position will also serve as the head instructor for special education students, expected to provide students with learning activities and experiences designed to help them reach their full potential. 

Under the direction of the Building Principal and Director of Special Populations, the Licensed Special Education Educator develops and provides specialized instruction to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities; evaluates and assesses student progress against instructional objectives; follows State-mandated due process procedures and functions as IEP Manager to assigned students.

The Director of Instruction will provide instructional support and coaching to math educators as they work to ensure that each student can reach their full academic potential. The DOI’s primary role is to work with educators to support best practices in using data, provide analysis of school-wide trends in instruction, and make recommendations about potential next steps to address areas of need.

The College & Career Counselor is responsible for developing and teaching a college and career curriculum for high school seniors, which will support students in preparing, finalizing, and executing post-secondary plans that will help them achieve their career or highest aspiration.

The LSSP at Yellowstone Schools performs professional psychological work in assessment, behavior management, and counseling for students with emotional disabilities, learning disabilities, and behavioral problems. The LSSP assesses the psychological and psychoeducational needs of students referred to special education services. 

Campus Support & Administrative Positions

The Director of Human Resources is pivotal in fostering a positive and inclusive work environment while supporting the school's mission and growth. This position is ideal for an experienced HR professional passionate about education and dedicated to promoting a healthy, vibrant, and collaborative school community.

The Advancement Assistant is a full-time, entry-level, and critical support position in our advancement department. It coordinates various activities, manages schedules, and assists team members with projects. The ideal candidate will have a high degree of professionalism and a commitment to our mission, as well as someone enthusiastic and detail-oriented.

The school bus driver transports passengers to and from school and special events. They will ensure adherence to safety rules and may assist passengers in boarding or exiting.

The bus chaperone will assist the bus driver in maintaining discipline while the bus is in operation, maintain proper records and documentation, and assist students in loading, unloading, and seating arrangements, as required. 

We seek a dynamic and experienced individual to join our institution as the Registrar and Manager of Student Data. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient management of student records and data integrity. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for leveraging data to enhance student success.
