Dear Yellowstone College Prep Parents!

We would like to welcome you to the 2018-2019 school year at Yellowstone College Prep! We are excited about the year ahead of us as we serve your scholars at YCP! We are looking forward to building relationships with students and forging partnerships with you. At Yellowstone we believe that all students are born with purpose and destined for success.

My name is Michelle Farris, I am serving as the Dean of Academics for Yellowstone College Prep. I  am a native Houstonian and graduate of Jack Yates Senior High School as well as Prairie View A&M University. This year I will be entering my  23rd year in education. I came to YCP from James Madison High School in HISD where I served as an Assistant Principal for the past five years. I spent 15 years as school counselor in Alief and Fort Bend ISD.  I served as a 9th grade English teacher in Bryan ISD and I have also served as an adjunct professor in Developmental English .

As Dean of Academics my job is to help to make sure that your scholar is safe, help to increase student achievement and build positive relationships with students and parents. Our mission  is to  Inspire, Empower and Invest in your scholar! Again, I am looking forward to working with you, welcome to Yellowstone College Prep!

Kaleidoscope Uniforms provides shirts, oxfords, khaki pants and other uniform items already branded for Yellowstone students.Attached you will find the uniform options and colors as well as steps to register for the website.

All uniform orders take about 5-7 days to be delivered. Uniforms can be delivered to your residence or to the school. It is suggested that all orders are delivered to your home to ensure receipt and accuracy of order. Yellowstone will provide families with one polo and one Oxford shirt.
